CORK CITY

THE ACCOUNTANTS, MELBOURNE BUILDING, CIT.

20  /  03  /  2018

For the Accountants Project I wanted to create a professional functioning work space but also keep it exciting and a welcoming environment for the people working here. I wanted the workers to feel this building works for them and their needs.

I kept the design aesthetic as a minimalist style as is fitting with the professional setting while also adding touches of geometric designs as a nod towards the mathematical theme of the work space. The use of yellow in the scheme is to give the design a pop of colour, the patterns of of the stonework on the walls and floors act as a path for the eye to follow. There has also been sound absorption panels added to spaces within the building to reduce noise travelling through the spaces.
